Returning to an in-person party at the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden!

Join us for WaterWatch's 20th Annual Celebration of Oregon Rivers!
We're excited to return to an in-person party after two years of virtual events, and we can't wait to reunite WaterWatch's community of supporters, conservationists, and river-lovers for the biggest and best river party in Portland. This year’s gathering will be held outdoors at the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Gardens. Dinner and drinks will be served and the evening will feature a presentation and live auction.

PARKING and TRANSPORTATION:

The Crystal Springs Rhododendron Gardens has limited on-site parking. If you require ADA access, we do have an option to allow you in an accessible back entrance that will lead down a gravel path, directly to our event site. Arrangements must be made in advance for this service by emailing our Development Director Neil Brandt at neil@waterwatch.org.

Otherwise, our best suggestions for transportation to and from our event are as follows:

1.) Public transportation, buses run often. The closest Trimet bus stops are 6400 (Westbound Bus 19) and 7286 (Eastbound Bus 19). Bus route 19 is easily accessible from the Trimet light rail Orange Line.

2.) Uber, Lyft or cab, this would greatly increase your ability to have fun at our event and get home safely!

3.) Bike,  Crystal Springs has ample bike parking on site and both SE 28th Avenue and SE Woodstock Ave have dedicated bike lanes. Please use the designated bike rack on-site for bicycle parking.

**WaterWatch will gift the first 10 guests who arrive using alternative transportation methods with a $5 Nossa Familia Coffee Gift Card each!**

PARKING:

4.) If you must drive, consider a carpool. For parking, our best suggestion is first looking for a space in the adjacent neighborhoods where street parking is free. This would be anywhere between Woodstock Blvd. and SE Carlton Street and between SE 28th and SE 32nd Ave.

5.) Finally, WaterWatch does not recommend parking in Reed College lots. Do so at your own risk. Reed College does have parking lots near Crystal Springs. We cannot guarantee the availability of these lots, especially on weekends when events are in progress.

****If you or someone in your party has mobility limitations, please reach out to us. We will reserve spots in the on-site lot for those with mobility limitations. There is also a separate, ADA-accessible entrance closer to the event site for anyone who needs it. Please reach out to WaterWatch to coordinate access.
