Two anglers will join a day of winter fly fishing for steelhead on the Sandy River with Mark Bachmann. You’ll fish the remote canyon of the Sandy, using Mark’s three-person pontoon boat for transportation. "Madrina" Sculpture by Maria Wickwire Palensky
This sculpture from the "Cinderella" series is the work of artist, Maria Wickwire (Palensky). She has been featured on OPB's Oregon Art Beat and received the People's Choice Award: Lake Oswego Foundation for the Arts Gallery Without Walls, for her work "Anillos." Maria is attending the auction tonight and will sign or provide a certificate of authenticity for her work.

"Morning Shadows", a limited print edition of an original water color painting by noted southern Oregon wildlife artist, Gerald Pettit. Pettit's wildlife paintings and prints hang throughout America on the walls of wildlife loving people and businesses. "Morning Shadow" won Pettit the Oregon Ducks Unlimited Outstanding Artist Award in 1990. A long time Oregonian, Pettit died in 2012 at age 87.

Winter Steelheading on the Clackamas River with Nick Rowell
Two anglers will drift the Clackamas River in pursuit of winter steelhead with Anadromous Anglers' Nick Rowell. Nick was born and raised in Dallas, Oregon, and has been chasing steelhead with a fly rod all of his life.  He is a graduate in fisheries and wildlife from OSU. Nick guides all the Metro area and north coast rivers and the Deschutes for steelhead. One of the nicest, laid back guys on the river, Nick is also an accomplished Spey casting instructor and is just plain fishy. A day on the Clackamas with Nick will be fun, instructive and could easily find tussles with elusive winter steelhead.
Fish the Deschutes Salmon Fly Hatch with Brian Silvey in his "Kinda Secret" Water
Brian Silvey has been guiding on the Deschutes River for what seems like centuries. Yet, he is only in his mid-40s. Two people will spend a day during the salmon fly hatch fishing with Brian in his kinda-secret water near Maupin. "Kinda-secret" best describes Brian's favorite trout water because everybody knows it but few fish it except for Brian.
